I haven’t had any real positive news to share. I haven’t posted since July. Since then I’ve had three surgeries, mostly unrelated. I’ve been mostly bedridden and unable to work. Even so, I did want to share a brief update. Cancer is under control for now and we’re taking some time to recover before proceeding. The main issue I’m dealing with is gastroperisis which is a complication from diabetes. There is no cure and I can only treat the symptoms. It’s like a nagging stomach ache with me 24/7. Not sure at this point if I’ll ever be able to work or even play music anymore. Spend most of my time sleeping and fighting depression. Not sure where to turn at this point, but I’m not giving up hope.
My financial situation is dire to say the least. I still have a GoFundMe page, but I’ve come to the conclusion that most people I’ve reached out to are living in the same bad economic world that most of are, and times are tough. That’s also why I wanted to take a minute to again say thank you to those who have donated. All donations, small and large have kept me afloat during these days I haven’t been able to work. I’ll be forever grateful. To those who have shared thoughts and prayers I thank you as well. Though I don’t know what is next, I know things will work out, one way or another.
