Haven’t posted here in some time. Finally have health issues going in the right direction but seems like life is always going to create new challenges. Was looking forward to finally playing some shows in 25, but yet another issue has side tracked me again.
Unfortunately, the year got off to a rough start for me. I was doing my side gig driving for Uber, and a lady turned left in front of me, crashing into my car. No one was injured, but my car was deemed a total loss as air bags had been deployed. I won’t bother with the details, other than to say I still don’t have transportation, and likewise, my side gig with Uber is on hold indefinitely. I’m on a small fixed income since being forced to retire early due to my health issues. The Uber gig was really a lifesaver as it was really the only job I could do.
Anyway, while I hate singing the blues, I find myself here reaching out to anyone who may find my story here. I could use some help getting back on the road. Not having a car not only means not driving Uber, it also means I can’t book any shows or do any open mic nights etc. If you’re in a position to help, please consider visiting my Donate page to share a gift to my Back on the Road project.
